The 'Desert Eagles Model Airplane Flying Club' is a sanctioned Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) club.  We are dedicated to participating in and promoting model airplane flying activities.  The flying field is located in Eastern Idaho just south of Idaho Falls off of exit 113.  See the Flying Field link for more information and pictures of the field.

Check the newsletter page for new information about the past meetings.  Also take a look at the Event Calendar, I have updated dates for 2010.

The Blue Angels are going to be in Idaho Falls for an air show on the 24th and 25th of July.  I have personally been to two of thier shows and they are awesome to see.  Plan on going if you can.  Here is a link to the Airshow website.

How To Join The Club

Joining the Club is easy!  Click on the links to obtain an AMA Memebership and then fill out a Club Membersip Application and send it in.

We accept all eligible persons into the club.  Eligibility requirements are listed in our Club By Laws.

We have monthly club meetings held in the Aeromark building, upstairs, at the airport.  Weather permitting meetings for June - September will be held at the flying field, check often to see which moths will be at the flying field.

The flying season is upon us.  I hope that everyone is taking advantage of any good flying days that present themselves.  I know that I will do my best to be there, taking advantage of good flying times.
